Hey! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! I’ve been waiting to share some pics from my trip home but I’m just now getting to it do to some technical difficulties!
That’s me. Feeding a cow. I love home.
I had such a great time with the fam. It was so great to have nothing to do but relax, lay by the pool, read, and help my mom cook. I was totally spoiled by my mom’s garden…
The tiny plot of land in my back yard that I call a “garden” doesn’t even come close! Every day we ate something fresh from the garden, from green and yellow beans, to strawberries, to potatoes, to all kinds of salad greens we used to create some real masterpieces.
I also got to spend some time at Ginny and Pop’s…hence the cow…and this delicious food!
Pop even freshly cut some cherry and apple wood branches to put in the bbq to flavor the food.
Doesn’t get much better than that!
Well, unless it is drinking made-from-scratch pisco sours by the pool on your birthday.
What was it that Dorothy said?
There’s no place like HOME.
